Inspired by John 8:12, we originally started 8Twelve to spread light through handmade candles. My husband started Physical Therapy school in the fall of 2023, and I wanted to find a hobby to keep myself busy and entertained when I got home from work and while he studied in the evenings. I started selling my candles to friends and family, and with an extra push of encouragement from my husband, I eventually started an Etsy shop.
